House swapping (Final Version)

House swapping is getting more and more usual mostly on families of United States and Britain. It consists of an arrangement between two different families, mostly known people from yours or another country, where they exchange their houses for a holiday or a determinate period of time, with the objective of spending holidays somewhere away from your house and disconnect from your environment, and take care of the house of the other family, while they do the same with yours.

On the one hand, it could be a good opportunity for one family to go on holiday somewhere away for some days and that want to be sure that there is another family who they rely on that is looking after their house while they're on holiday as well . They can enjoy a new place, and know a little bit more about another environment.

On the other hand, you you have to make sure that you exchange your house with a reliable family in order to know for sure that you will take care of their house as the other family will too, because if you don't know what the other family is like, it could be a complete disaster and then you might regret your decision.

To sum up, I think it's a good idea to make a house exchange on holidays, to live a different situation than normal for a few days, but in my case, I don't think I would ever swap my house for a holiday, because I would get worried to be careful all the time  not to break anything in the other house, and I don't like other people to be in my house without my presence because I would feel uncomfortable that another family that maybe I don't know, is staying in my house.

Nowadays there is a new way to travel. Some people swap their houses with other people, because in this way they only have to pay for transport and food.

Therefore, the advantage that I see in this new way to travel is to save money. But it is the only advantage that I see in this, and, in contrast, I see a serious problem.

In my opinion, I couldn't swap my house, because I can't imagine that other people are living in my house, sleeping in my bedroom and using my bathroom. I think that I am a little possessive or selfish perhaps, but I couldn't feel at ease knowing other people are living in my house.

What's more, if when you get to your "new house", it isn't what you expected, what would you do?. This, is a little difficult because it is assumed that you had seen the photographs before, but it's possible that you've been deceived! Furthermore, recently a woman appeared on a television program who had been deceived by another about the information of the swap house  . I don't know if the cases that come out in this program are true or not, but I think that this could happen.

To conclude, I wouldn't swap my house, not for a moment in order to my feel at ease and for my security.

A NEW WAY OF TRAVELLING. (CORRECTED)

Nowadays some people have found a new way of travelling: swap their houses. This new way of swapping permits to travel/ allows you to travel around the world only paying  tickets and the food.  Although some people are against to/ -- this, I believe that it is a great experience and a very good and cheap way to go on holiday.

First of all we have to say that (...) most people who choose this method are responsible. We don’t have to forget that our house is being used by other people. This is one of the reasons for which/ why I/ I would agree to  swap my house, I’m also/ I would also be in a house that is not mine and I will/ would try to keep  it very well.

On the other hand, and with the situation that lot of people are living now, swapping houses is an opportunity to know the world and live a new experience with a few/ little  money. You only have to found/ to find a person who wants to swap his house, a cheap ticket and a supermarket where you can buy basic products.

As I see it, this way of travelling is a cheap opportunity to see the world.

First of all, I believe that house swapping has more advantatges than disadvantatges. One of these is that you can travel to a lot of cities or countries and you have a holiday house. In addition you don't pay for this house, because during your stay in the holiday house, your house is lived in by other people.

Also it is interesting to live in another house, flat or other building, in a new city, with other customs and to visit a lot of places, thinking that afterwards you can return to your swapped house. I think that in the swapped house, you must feel more comfortable than in  a hotel.

On the other hand, If in your house there are people that you don't know, you can be worried about whether these people can "ruin" your house. Another disadvantage that I think of is that the fisrt days that you stay in a swapped house you must feel strange, like an intrusive.

I never swap my house, but I would like to exchange my house with another family for some/ during the summer or holidays. I think that it could be a good experience.

What are the main advantages and disadvantages of house swapping?

In my opinion, house swapping is a good way of travelling without spending too much money on hotels, but it can also have consequences in your holidays and even in your daily life.

First of all, you have to be very careful with the people you are doing the swap with. You won’t always find rich people with big mansions who want to do a house exchange during a few days. Normally, people who look for this kind of travelling are those who cannot afford paying a hotel or people who don’t appreciate much their house, so you don’t know how they will treat yours.

I’m not saying that you have to distrust everyone, but you should think that you are inviting unknown people to your house while you are not there, so they will be able to do everything they want there.

Furthermore, images on the internet can deceive you because you might think that you are going to a normal house and then you find something completely different which dislikes you.

In conclusion, this house swapping can be a good way to travel cheaply, but you have to be careful because you never know where you are going or who is going to your house.

House swapping have advantages and disavantages too.

On the one hand, house swapping is the best way to go on holiday without spend money became the only thing that you have to do is looking for ?? the house while the owners are back.?? Furthermore, you can enjoy in the house using all the things that there are.

In the other hand, hause swapping have an important desavantage because the things can go wrong. The house sitters can hit something, forget to do the maintenance of the swimingpool.

Because of that, someone can think that there ir no compensation, but in my opinion, house swapping is a good system that if you chose a good hause sitters it's not necessary that the thing go wrong.
As a result, I think that the next summer I am going to swap my home for the holiday, it's a good idea!
