Piracy is something that everybody has done in his life. But is it wrong or unethical? Do you think it is fair for the actors, singers, directors or all the people who have worked?
Firstly, I think it is unfair for people who have worked in something and expect to earn money for it. However, these people in many cases are very rich so maybe they can cut the price of what they are offering to reduce piracy.
Secondly, I don't think that offering better services if you pay for the product instead of downloading it will decrease piracy, so why doing it? People want product, not extras.
Thirdly, I think that now it is impossible to stop piracy because it's really widespread that has spread too much and it is very easy to do. Furthermore, in this time of crisis people can't pay for some products which aren't necessary.
To sum up, I think that piracy is unstoppable but for all the great companies and all actors or singers who earn a lot of money this isn't a terrible problem because they still earn loads of money.
