PIRACY

Piracy is downloading an illegal copy of a product (music, films, software, etc.) from the Internet. It has increased a lot during the last years because it's easy and free, and everyone can do it.

First of all, from my point of view it's wrong because it causes loads of economic losses to the people who make these products. For instance, if you download a song instead of buying it, you're making the artist or the singer lose money. What's more, you're stealing a product that belongs to him or her without paying anything.

Furthermore, piracy is illegal. It's considered a crime, so if you download something illegally or buy an illegal copy of something you're breaking the law. In my opinion it's unethical.

To sum up, I think that it's much better to buy a product or download it legally instead of doing it illegally, because we must stop piracy. When we download an illegal product, we're damaging its owner.
