For a long time it has been debated if piracy is a serious problem or if it is an easy and convenient way to acquire certain products.
On the one hand there are people, especially artists and the big companies who think that piracy is unethical practice and bad because it causes the decrease of their benefits, but in my opinion this is not true. For example in the case of singers, the fact that people can download their music easily helps them to have more public in their concerts. This is how they actually earn money. In addition the prices of movies, CD or software is very high and many times you will are disapointed because the film in the end, is boring or because you only like a few songs of the entire disk.
In conclusion, piracy is comfortable,and for this it will continue to be used by millions of people until market makes progress or until someone finds a way to stop it.
Is a fact that is more easy and cheap to download a film or music instead of buy it. But I think that is unethical because behind the product you are buying or downloading there are a lot of work.
