Firstly, when people go shopping sometimes they really don’t buy what they need and finally these things aren’t used. Therefore, if you open the wardrobe in any house you could probably find some clothes with the gift tag. Secondly, on important dates such as Christmas, people buy without specific reason. Finally, some people are addicted to buying and this is for some people an illness. When a person has a little money, he needs to buy anything without a reason, because of this illness. Sometimes these people usually hide the object that they have bought because they feel guilty and never used it.
Personally, I think that a person who suffers this addiction needs some help. Moreover, I know a person with this illness and I can see how she usually buys unnecessary things although she hasn’t enough money.

ResponderEliminarI also think that shopping can be an addiction. In fact, I'm convinced that it is some kind of mental disorder that makes you overwaste. To my mind, the blame is on advertising (don't you think so?). Maybe you should have talked a bit about it.
ResponderEliminarCompulsive buying of things is really an addiction as it says in the text, because people spend money on things inecesarias, for various reasons, for example because they have low-self esteem.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, many people are addicted to shopping. This is because brands do a lot of advertising, a misleading advertising that promotes consumerism. What can we do about it? I think that society would have to know the intention of the multinationals and learn to live with the basics, because, otherwise, the society don't value the small facts and simply fixed on material things. The shopping addiction is one of the biggest problems of this century, poor are poorer and rich are richer.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, I also think that many people can have shopping addiction. These people have a problem because they buy everything that they like although they don't neddt it. There are people that buy, althoug they haven't enough money to buy other things more necessary.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, although it's true that's illness, the shopping addiction is a business for shop owners, because thanks to this people they can earn the money. However it's a problem for the "victims", but the blame is theirs because of don't see the limit and keep buying and buying even if they haven't money. These need to go to a psychologist...
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, it's an illness, but nowadays it's too easy to be affected by it because when you turn on the tv you see a lot of commercials, moreover, there are web sites where you can buy what you want, you don't have to leave your house to buy clothes, shoes or whatever.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you, but i think that you should have introduced in the essay what are the cause of the compulsive shopping.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you because I think that shopping can be an addiction and many people have this problem.
